BTEC3 Extended Diploma in Business
The BTEC3 Extended diploma in business is offered by the Kronenburgh International Business School under the license and supervision of Pearson Education Ltd.: The UK’s largest diploma awarding body with academic and professional qualifications that are globally recognized and benchmarked.
Examination
There is no seperate examination. The students’ assignments are audited by Pearson.
Awarding
You will receive the BTEC3 Extended Diploma in Business incase all units have been successfully completed. This also includes an internship.
To successfully complete a unit, you need a passing grade for both the theory and the assignment.
Kronenburgh will award you with the list of the theoretical grades during the ‘move-up / end-of-year awarding ceremony’ in July in the Kronenburgh building.
Pearson will print the BTEC3 Extended Diploma in Business in August. This document will be scanned and e-mailed and can be collected at Kronenburgh when available.
Bachelors' in full-time and part-time
The bachelors’ programme consists of three parts.:
- The Propaedeutic
- The Higher National Diploma HND
- The Top-up bachelors’ degree
Examination Assessment Propaedeutic and HND
There is no seperate examination assessment for the Propaedeutic and HND. The students’ assignments are audited by Pearson.
Awarding Propaedeutic and HND
The Propaedeutic and the Higher National Diploma is offered by the Kronenburgh International Business School under the license and supervision of Pearson Education Ltd.: The UK’s largest diploma awarding body with academic and professional qualifications that are globally recognized and benchmarked.
To successfully complete a unit, you need a passing grade for both the theory and the assignment.
You finish an academic year incase all units have been successfully completed. This also includes an internship.
Kronenburgh will award you with the list of the theoretical grades during the ‘move-up / end-of-year awarding ceremony’ in July in the Kronenburgh building.
Pearson will print the Certificate overview for the propaedeutic. Also the Higher National Diploma will be printed by Pearson (in August). This document will be scanned and e-mailed and can be collected at Kronenburgh when available.
The Top-up bachelors’ degree
The HND is accepted at universities all over the world. Here the students enter the last academic year of the bachelor of Science BSc or the Bachelor of Arts BA programme: The Top-up.
Examination Assessment Top-up
Criteria to succesfully finish the programme to receive the bachelors’ degree differ per university.
Assessment methods for the top-up programme may vary by university. However, in most cases, it involves passing the required courses and completing a research project.
Awarding Top-up
You will receive the bachelor’s of Science BSc or the Bachelor of Arts BA degree from the university where you studied for the top-up.
You will also participate in the graduation ceremony at this university.
Accreditations
Kronenburgh International Business School is:
- recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (registration number 30HM) for vocational / pré university / foundation education;
- recognized by Pearson (registration number 94179) for international vocational and higher professional education (BTEC Levels 3, 4, and 5; HNC/HND in Business);
- a training provider for the examinations of:
- the Dutch Association for Examination (Nederlandse Associatie voor Examinering)(examination body for eg. Finance and HR);
- VastgoedCert (The independent quality register for certified real estate agents);
- WFT NIVO (examination body for Insurance training courses).
Furthermore Kronenburgh International Business School is:
- registered by the Centre for Post-Initial Education Netherlands (CPION) in the Central Register for Short Vocational Education (CRKBO);
- a member of the NRTO and authorized to display the NRTO Quality Mark.
