Full-time BTEC3
Structure of the academic year
The full-time BTEC3 academic year is divided into four periods. You attend classes during the first three periods, while the fourth period is dedicated to an internship.
Structure of an academic period
Each academic period concludes with an exam week; there are also inbetween exams. Classes are held five days a week during period 1.
In periode 2 there is the option to attend the unit Dutch for Dutch speaking students. In the third period, there is one day set aside to apply for an internship placement and to begin working on your initial internship assignments.
Class hours
Class hours are from 9:00 AM to 4:20 PM. You attend college in the morning and practical sessions in the afternoon. During the practical sessions, you also complete all your homework under the guidance of the instructor. There is a 10-minute break after each tutorial. After the first three tutorials, there is a long break of 40 minutes.
In between intake
It is possible to enter the programme at the start of every new period in August, November, January, or April (in April means an extra internship).

Planning 2027-2028
The 2027–2028 academic year begins on Monday, August 30, 2027, with an Induction Day—a fun opportunity to get to know your fellow students. Regular classes start on Tuesday, August 31.

Part-time bachelors'
Tuesday or Thursday
In the part-time program we offer the lectures on Tuesday afternoons and evenings or Thursday afternoons and evenings.
Class times
Class times are 13:30–20:50: three sessions in the afternoon and three in the evening. There is a 10-minute break after each session, and a longer break following the first three sessions.
Programme structure
The programme is modular in structure. After finishing a unit, the next unit starts according to the class schedule.

You can apply the programme whenever a new module starts throughout the academic year.

In class or online
We offer the programme as in-person classes at our facility in The Hague. It is also possible to attend classes online via Zoom.
Time commitment
As a guideline for time commitment, we estimate one hour of homework for every hour of class time, though this naturally varies from student to student. In addition to attending classes, you will complete assignments and study for tests and exams. You will also carry out assignments within your professional practice.
